The 2008 Junior Monarch Competition has just come to its conclusion and Donna Lee Peters — better known as “The Dutchess” — has been crowned Junior Monarch Queen for the fourth time. She won the Monarcy in 2004, 2006,2007 and 2008
Dominica’s 2008 Junior Monarch Competition was held at Harlem Plaza in Newtown on January 17th.
The final results are as follows:
- 1st Place (Junior Calypso Monarch): The Dutchess
- 2nd Place (1st Runner Up): Madame Spicket
- 3rd Place (2nd Runner Up): The Prophet
- 4th Place (3rd Runner Up): The Advisor
This was the third victory in a row for The Dutchess. Her winning song was entitled “True Reflections.”
